The Good Citizen Award is a national award established by the Daughters of the American Revolution to recognize outstanding high school students who represent the four qualities of good citizenship: dependability, service, leadership and patriotism as demonstrated in home, school and community.
In addition to listing their activities in these areas, the students wrote an essay describing how the characteristics of a good citizen help to renew and strengthen the democracy achieved by the Patriots of the American Revolution.
The following students will receive a monetary award, a certificate, a pin, and a red/white/blue cord.
- Emma Brown – Cambridge High School
- Delana Jae Harper – Cambridge High School
- Maddalyn Hauenstein – Mid-East Career and Technology Center
- Leslie Anne Stevens – Meadowbrook High School
The Anna Asbury Stone Chapter would like to wish the students much success in their future educational endeavors and thank the school administrations and parents for their cooperation and support.
